Data controller
Ex Machina Stack is the controller of personal data submitted through this website. Questions about data handling can be sent through the contact page.
Data we collect
The project enquiry form asks for your name, email address, message and, optionally, your organisation. When you send it, we also receive the source page, IP address, country code supplied by the hosting provider, submission time, browser and device details, operating system or platform, screen and viewport size, system languages, time zone and basic connection information where the browser makes it available.
How we use the data
We use the data to assess and respond to the enquiry, manage correspondence about a potential project, understand the technical context of the request and protect the form from misuse. A Google Firebase function sends the form data to our Gmail mailbox.
Storage and recipients
The website does not store a separate copy of the enquiry in an application database or send its contents to analytics or CRM services. Google processes the data as the provider of Firebase and Gmail. We retain enquiry emails while they are needed for the request and any potential work, then delete them manually.
Reason for processing
We process the data to assess the project at your request and prepare for a possible contract. We also have a legitimate interest in managing business enquiries and protecting the form from misuse.
Your rights
You may ask to access, correct or delete your personal data and, where applicable, restrict or object to its processing. When using the contact page, provide enough information for us to locate the enquiry.
Cookies and website data
With your consent, Google Analytics processes page views, interactions, referral source, approximate location and technical browser and device data to help us understand and improve the website. It does not receive the contents of the enquiry form. You may withdraw consent at any time. Browser storage, analytics cookies and server logs are described in the Cookie Policy.
